Our Story:
Under the Sun Garden Centers have been a part of the Oklahoma landscape since we opened our first seasonal store under a tent in May 1992. We began as a seasonal garden center that operated in the spring and fall seasons. Since that time, we've carried items that we have become famous for, such as premium annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and decor.
In 1999, Craig and Amy came together and branded their first year-round Under the Sun Garden Center in Tulsa. Since then we have grown to serve the Oklahoma market through numerous permanent and seasonal garden centers.
Under the Sun has found their niche as a home and garden center that is convenient, and specializes in quality and customer service, unlike traditional nurseries. We specialize in premium bedding plants, hanging baskets, house plants and also in unique garden, gift, home and holiday decor items.
Under the Sun Garden Center provides an inspiring, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere that creates loyalty with our customers who enjoy interacting with a company and a team that is as passionate about gardening as they are.
This combined with providing the highest quality plants ensures that your plants will look as great the day you plant them as they did the day you purchased them. With this combination of service and selection, we have been able to separate ourselves from "Mom and Pop" garden centers as well as the big box retailers.
